A recent study has shed light on the growth patterns of the Tyrannosaurus rex, suggesting it took approximately 40 years to reach its full size.

The analysis involved 17 fossils of the species, leading to the conclusion that T. rex grew at a slower rate than earlier estimates indicated.

This new understanding places the full size of the dinosaur at around eight tons, challenging previous notions about its development.
